Using the Flashcards

Reviewing Flashcards

Let’s start the fun! Tap Start on the Start Screen, and you’ll dive straight into the world of microbiology flashcards. Here’s how it works:

• You will be presented with a question.
• Reveal the answer with a simple tap—did you get it right?
• Swipe left to move to the next flashcard or swipe right to revisit the previous one.
• Alternatively, you can use the Next and Previous buttons at the bottom to move through the deck.
• Focus your study by using the Category Filter at the top to select a specific topic (e.g., Bacteriology, Mycology, Virology). Hone in on what matters most!

Managing Flashcards

Adding New Flashcards

Want to add your own questions? Here’s how:

• Tap Manage Flashcards from the Start Screen.
• Select Add New Cards.
• Fill in the Question and Answer fields and choose a Category. Need a new category? You can create that too!
• Tap Save Card to add it to your collection—voilà, it’s ready!

Editing Existing Flashcards

Need to tweak a card? No problem:

• Go to Manage Flashcards and select Edit Cards.
• Choose the flashcard you want to update.
• Make your changes—edit the Question, Answer, or Category.
• Tap Save Changes to update it, or hit Delete Flashcard if you want it gone for good.

Tips for Effective Study

Make your study sessions count with these tips:

• Consistent Review: Use the app regularly to reinforce what you’ve learned.
• Focused Study: Use the category filter to zoom in on topics where you need more practice.
